Try It Out Tuesday: ‘Eat Your Vegetable’ Chips are a tasty snack without the calories
If you have a new years resolution to get healthy, eating more vegetables might be a good start. For this week’s Try It Out-Tuesday, we’re testing chips that promise to make healthy snacking easy and delicious.
The “Eat Your Vegetables” chips from “Snickiddy” claim to have a full serving of vegetables in every ounce. They’re made with sweet potatoes, carrots, and beans. Plus they’re all natural and vegetarian, with no cholesterol or trans fat.
Our testers decides for healthy food, the chips taste pretty good. We tried the sea salt flavor, jalapeno ranch, and sour cream and onion. Our Good Morning Tri-State testers like all the flavors pretty well, but the jalapeno ranch was the winner by a small margin. However, one tester said they all tasted the same.
Overall, our test found the chips have a good crunch and taste a lot like your regular chips which have more calories. “Eat Your Vegetable” are available at most major grocery stores
As always, Try It Out Tuesday is an unscientific test with unscientific results.
